Por la Resolución Nº 103 se crea el Sistema Nacional de Identificación de Ganado Bovino bajo la órbita del Senasa.
La coordinación operativa y el registro de los datos será responsabilidad del Senasa.
Por la Resolución Nº 754 el Senasa reglamenta los aspectos técnicos y operativos necesarios.
Objetivos de la identificación del ganado bovino
• Aumentar la eficiencia en el rastreo retrospectivo de un problema sanitario que pudiera presentarse.
• Actualizar y mejorar la información sobre los predios, productores y animales.
• Ampliar bases para la creación de un sistema de trazabilidad a nivel país.
• Mejorar la gestión de los números de los animales identificados oficialmente.
• Mejorar la información para la gestión productiva y sanitaria dentro del establecimiento.

Modificaciones acerca del dispositivo
• Condiciones mínimas de calidad (certificación INTI).
• Agregar un dispositivo de seguridad tipo botón.
• Unificar criterios acerca de: colores, distribución del texto y tipografía (Ver imágenes relacionadas).
• Creación de la Clave Única de Identificación Ganadera (CUIG)
• Agregar un dígito verificador como elemento de seguridad.
Aplicación de los dispositivos
• El productor es responsable por la aplicación de las caravanas, quien podrá contratar el servicio de aplicación al ente sanitario de la zona.
• Es responsabilidad del Senasa la aplicación de los dispositivos a los “productores de subsistencias”, quienes podrán también delegar en los entes sanitarios la ejecución de la tarea.
• Para quienes no apliquen las caravanas, el Senasa puede ordenar la identificación compulsiva y delegar la ejecución de esa tarea en los entes sanitarios.
• Están previstas campañas de capacitación y comunicación acerca de la aplicación y registro de datos a productores y entes sanitarios.
• Se elaboraron manuales de procedimiento y buenas prácticas.
Momento de la aplicación
• Productores en general, al destete o antes del primer movimiento, lo que ocurra primero.
• A los productores de subsistencia, en la primera vacunación que se aplique.
• Para animales importados, al momento de ingreso en el lugar de cuarentena. |
